This was my favorite place to eat. It’s been a while since I’ve been here, so today I decided to go grab a salad. My husband and I are very disappointed with the tomatillo sauce. The sauce was water down so much; it’s not creamy like before; it was tasteless. Might not go back.

The Costa vida experience is what I call it because of the consistency of the food, service and atmosphere. All highly rated by me. Love the quality of the food the cheerful people and the feel as if you are on the California coast. Good prices to boot. If you like fresh Mexican food it is hard to beat at this price point. Give it a try I ain't lying.

The person preparing my small chicken salad for the order was not what i expected. Usually this place has very friendly employees but not this time. I did not get the name because there was no name tag but the person preparing the food was insensitive and rude. She put very little chicken on my chicken salad and when i asked her for a little more, she took the smallest piece she could find and dropped on the plate which seemed rude and arrogant. She did not seem polite or patient. The cashier on the other hand was very generous with the dressing, polite and patient but it wasnt enough to make uo for the attitude of the person preparing. The food is always great but the attitude of the ine preparing the food really ruined my appetite. I was going to walk out without paying because it upset me but since i was ordering for 3 people I didn't think it would be right. Not what i expected! Although the previous post was months ago, unfortunately i don't feel anything has improved. The majority of their individual foods are contaminated with other foods around and because I can't have cheese, the server threw a fit because i was unhappy that the sauces were contaminated with cheese. Overall, it's a very messy place, sadly.

$33. For 2 sweet pork burritos, prices have definitely gotten out of hand. Not to mention, almost all the food was old. Everything was either burnt or old from sitting out. The ladies were nice, but I don't really recommend this place. I miss the rancho Cordova location. Their food was always fresh, and full (not out of items), and it would only cost $19.27 for two sweet pork burritos, $24.98 if you got two large drinks with it.

I'm here twice a month for the grilled chicken salad. Cilantro lime dressing does it for me. Add jalapeños, never disappoints 😉
